Dr Brigid Erikitola

Consultant Ophthalmologist and Eye Surgeon, graduate of medicine from University of Benin. She studied at Tennents Institute of Ophthalmology, Glasgow, UK and obtained further post graduate training at Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Lagos.

She is a fellow of West African College of Surgeons (FWACS) and National Postgraduate Medical College in Ophthalmology (FMCOphth). Certified training in Micro Eye Surgery at National Eye Centre, a WHO collaboration centre and certified training in Phacoemulsification (Phaco) at Joseph Eye Hospital, India and Mahatme Eye Hospital Nagpur. She had a further postgraduate training in Medical Retina at the renowned WHO centre for prevention of blindness; Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore. She held a consultant Ophthalmologist post at LASUTH between 1997 and 2004 and Director of Blindness Prevention Program in Lagos state 2004/06. She is an international member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and Alumnus of Lagos Business School.

Presently, Medical Director of Cathem Eye Hospital, specialty in cataract and glaucoma surgeries with keen interest is in vitreoretinal diseases and medical retina.

Dr Erikitola has a wide range of experience in the management of cataract, glaucoma and other eye diseases. Dr Erikitola is married with children.

Dr. A. N.Iwuora

Ophthalmic Surgeon graduate of medicine from The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. She is a fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCophth) and a fellow of the West African College of Surgeons(FWACS).

She has extensive working experience in Nigeria and within the sub region as a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Trainer in the Regional Ophthalmic Training Programme based in the Gambia. She is specially interested in clinical and public health ophthalmology.

Dr A. N. Iwuora is married with children.

Dr. Aloy Majumdaa

A Medical Graduate in 1997 from GSVM Medical college, Kanpur, India, Joined Ophthalmology Speciality in 1999 at Gandhi Medical College, Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Bhopal, India as a Resident. He did his Masters in Ophthalmology from SN Medical College, Agra, India in 2003.
He did his Fellowship in Vitreo-Retina at T.C. Eye Centre, Lucknow and Joined as a Consultant Retina Services at Indira Gandhi Eye Hospital & Research Centre in 2005. He also did trainings in Phacoemulsification & Vitreo-Retina at Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai & Coimbatore. He headed the Vitreo-Retina Services at Indira Gandhi Eye Hospital & Research Centre. He has 43 ResearchPresentations and 16 Published Articles, besides many Poster & Video Presentations in National & International Forums & Journals. He is an Invited Faculty member to many Conferences & Societies in India & Abroad.
He is a Member of EuRetina & ESCRS, besides being a member and active academic contributor of AIOS, VRSI, GSI, USI, ACOIN & DOS. He is married with children.
